Jordan Collins Shell, O.D.

Dr. Jordan Collins Shell was born and raised in Covington, TN. Following graduation from Tipton Rosemark Academy in 2014, she attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She went on to attend the Southern College of Optometry where she received her Doctorate in 2022.

She now practices at both Covington Eye Care and Crockett Eye Care. She is a member of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, the Northwest Tennessee Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.

She is married to Adam Shell. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and Nash (her dog), and watching Tennessee sports.


Lisa Latham Privett, O.D., M.S.

Dr. Privett grew up in Friendship, Tennessee, and graduated from Crockett County High School in 1986. After attending the University of Memphis, she earned her doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 1993. Prior to graduation, she completed externships in ocular disease and vision therapy. In 2011, Dr. Privett earned a Master’s degree in mental health counseling from Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee.

Dr. Privett is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association. She serves as the Northwest Tennessee Trustee for the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, receiving the Trustee of the Year award in 2023. Dr. Privett also serves on the board of the Crockett County Chamber of Commerce.

Along with her husband Terry, she attends Friendship Baptist Church. They have two children, Hunter and Caitlyn. Dr. Privett enjoys reading, learning to sew, shopping for antiques, and playing with her grandson, Sawyer, in her spare time.
